Hand-cut International Currency Collage on Archival Paper
Over a dozen countries and 24 real banknotes packed into a single dollar. I built this one as a durability test, dialing in how to stack and bond the bills so the work stays flat and rigid in a frame instead of warping over time. Big on preventative sustainability. This was the last study before I starting an extremely limited run of these works for sale, the first of which already having found its loving home. This series will reflect significant efforts, and as such I will expand upon those efforts in a post dedicated to such.
